We’ve had a great experience at Dutch Creek. The principal, administrators, teachers and other staff are caring and supportive. My kids feel valued and heard at school and they’re getting a fantastic education.

I have had four children attend BJH. They have all thrived. We have had an amazing counselor and appreciate the administration's efforts to bring the community together. There are many opportunities for the students to shine.

Don’t be fooled by the building and idea of STEM. It has potential but it needs a drastic overhaul. My student has reported to me multiple instances of teachers bullying students, degrading them, and even teachers bullying other adults in the building. My child overheard a few teachers talking poorly about one of their coworkers in an unprofessional manner. Student behavior in his community is not great and little seems to be done with classroom behavior. I ask if there is silent lunch and he says no, just referrals. I question whether this school has a disciplinary policy at all. The teachers seem young and inexperienced, trying to be “friends” with students when they should be educating them, and screaming at kids when they do something wrong. My son says there are obvious “favorites” for certain teachers and they get special privileges like riding in the elevator, getting to sit wherever they want at lunch, or not being harassed about dress code, but if my child did any of that he would instantly have a referral. I’m sending him to a different school next year.

Our family is so blessed to be a part of the KCA School. We have 3 children at the school and they've attended KCA since our eldest started preschool here in 2015. We have seen the school grow and flourish while maintaining its core values of providing a Christ-centered education. KCA provides a safe environment where the students are taught morals and values in a fun, family-oriented school. The teachers truly love the students and my children truly love their teachers. Sports and drama productions add to the fun! I feel confident in saying we will stay at KCA and continue to support the school until our children graduate.

This school has a loving and supportive atmosphere that reflects the values of the Christian church. The teachers know the kids well, and are on a first name basis with the parents, as well. There are opportunities to be involved as a parent, but if you are a working parent, there is not a requirement, either. The academic rigor is appropriate, and they tend to keep technology out of the class, which I personally love, because devices are so addictive to younger kids. They do learn computer safety and typing, but this school takes the time to also teach cursive and the Bible. It has an old-school type of feel to it - for example the kids use text books and pencil and paper instead of iPads and apps. They have a comprehensive behavior policy and dress code, and try to promote self and others respect in their students. This is not the school for you if your child needs special education - they are not set up for that, given that they do 2 grade levels together, they don't have the bandwidth to do that. All kids 5th grade and up have opportunities to engage with school sports and drama, and there is no extra fee. Overall, it's a great atmosphere and the school takes the safety of the children very seriously with enhanced security features. I highly recommend! Our two kids have been there for 3 years and will be staying until high school.

My son with special needs was bullied and punished for reacting to the constant triggers that were allowed to go on without repercussions for both parties. Nothing is done to help the kids that require extra help or any kind of attention to detail when it comes to being different. If you want a school that is going to care and have christian values that they claim to have, then please do your child a huge favor and keep looking because words and actions definitely have two different meanings! I have had three children graduate from this school and a 24 year history with this school, my son was the last child I had that was going to attend and obviously it didn’t matter to them that we had been with the school for two decades, they didn’t want to deal with my son and any kind of needs he had! They literally kicked him out with 8 weeks left in the school year after they were informed of his diagnosis and said they would work with me. Being an accredited school there are guidelines that were supposed to be followed and they were not. What happened to my son was horrible, hurtful, and it was unfair and if I can save any other parent from having to watch their child hurt like mine did, then I will definitely continue to speak out against victory school!

My son attended school here from Kindergarten through 5th grade. Negatives: 1. The bullying is out of control and he got 2 concussions in 4th grade from being bullied here and I recently found out that they omitted it from his school records. However, I do have doctor's report dated stating the concussions occurred at the school. 2. In order to avoid accountability for the bullying they made my son the identified black sheep and would pick on him for doing even little things that were wrong, such as pulling leaves off the bushes as he walked by them. However, didn't hold the other kids accountable for making racial slurs against him. 3. Yard duties view point is if they didn't see it, then it didn't happen, and that was told to my son multiple times. Pros: 1. His 5th grade teacher Mr. Solario was extremely helpful and is understanding and shows he cares about the kids. 2. His school therapist was good and helpful.

My child has been attending Snosprings for nearly a year now, and the experience has been nothing short of fantastic. The school not only focuses on foundational academic development but also offers a lot of extracurricular clubs, making the learning journey truly holistic. One of the standout features of Snosprings is its exceptional music program, highlighted by two annual songfests that showcase the students' talents and enthusiasm. Additionally, my child has made remarkable progress in reading and science , evidenced by her ability to read books intended for first and second graders and her growing knowledge of science concepts. The inclusion of Spanish classes has been particularly enjoyable for her, adding a valuable linguistic dimension to her education.

I've personally have had no issues with the school and any issues they've addressed them to the best of their abilities. They always look for feedback to help improve themselves. Class sizes are smaller an work better for kids with anxieties or other issues that make being in a crowded place harder. Right now their biggest issue is Bussing but that's more due to lack of staffing.

New Century is an amazing high school and if your child is interested in pursuing a career in biomedical, enginnering or computer sciences, its the number one school in Huntsville, #2 in the state and the #60 in the United States based on US News & World Reports in 2024. There are tons of after school programs and a first class JROTC program and if your student is driven and focused, the school in partnership with some of the leading companies in the world will provide internships during the junior or senior year of the student's time at New Century. We moved from Texas to Huntsville and were looking for a first rate tech school for our son to attend and he is entering his senior year in 24-25; and New Technology has opened up so many amazing options for him to pursue a career in engineering and the JRTOC is providing him experience because he would also like to be in the military at the same time. Great job and we can never thank the Huntsville Schools and New Century leadership for this amazing opportunity for our son.

I am proud to say that I have been teaching at Vaughn for 23 years. I might be a little biased, but as a VNCLC employee, I believe Vaughn is a great school. Our school community has created a learning environment that fosters cultural inclusiveness, and a place where students are encouraged to cultivate critical thinking skills. Such skills empowered my two sons and my daughter as they navigated VNCLC’s schooling from kindergarten to 12th grade at VISA. Vaughn’s extracurricular activities and the support of the amazing teachers are just two examples of the many contributions that allowed my kids to transition from Vaughn and allow them to pursue their higher education as they graduated from the UC system. My experiences are never-ending, and I have also seen students return to Vaughn as teachers themselves. Students at Vaughn feel supported since Vaughn invests a lot in their education. We stride towards creating a community of learners. Therefore, I strongly recommend Vaughn NCLC.

Since I’ve spoken out about my concerns regarding how my children have been bullied and targeted by some staff, it has become apparent they are targeting my children daily. The Principal just brushes of any children’s concerns and parents alike. The education is very poor, they have lowered the standard which makes ratings look like they are going up.
