Sterling Elementary School

Awesome. I've had four children roll through Sterling Elementary. The level of instruction is excellent, the leadership infallible, and the emphasis on improving whatever might need to be improved is incredible. I'm constantly impressed with the curriculum, whether it be music, art, or general studies. Parent involvement could be improved due to the diversity, otherwise~ Great school!

My daughter has attended here for three years and has received excellent instruction. The school is very receptive to parent input and has made me feel welcome as a parent volunteer in the classroom. The administration is also very professional and accessible, outside no matter what the weather to see that children are safe as they come and go from school. Recently renovated, the school is competitive with any newer facility.

We are very happy with Sterling Elementary School. The staff is very good at keeping the lines of communication open with parents. The PTA provides may opportunites for involvement for parents, teachers, and staff. The principal, Mrs. Freeman, is very professional and is very easy to get in touch with. She is outside in front of the school every morning and afternoon to greet children and their parents, and makes a great effort to get to know everyone's name. She makes her presence known, both in the hallways and in the classrooms. We are very pleased with our experience at Sterling Elementary School.
