Truly outstanding school. We have a daughter and son who attended North East Elementary two years ago and both transferred to Hazelwood last year, and both couldn't be happier, and neither could we. Less crowed, smaller class sizes, newer facilities, devoted teachers involved parents, and a principal and administrative staff that are professional, accessible and responsive. The special programs, art club, and especially Mr Hadley's music department are incredible. Hazelwood is a great school with terrific students, parents, teachers and staff; we would recommend it to anyone.

My son has attended Hazelwood for the past 4 years and we have been very pleased with his academic and social growth and development during that time. The principal and staff are very professional and set high expectations for their students. Children learn from their environment and they set a great example for their students. The music department run by Mr. Hadley is fantastic! Their support of military families is outstanding. The very active PTO is another asset to the school providing great special programs and teacher/student support.
