it has small class rooms so the kids can learn moreand the teachers bend over backwards to hepl and care for the kids that go there. I have two grandkids that go there and one is a special needs kidand they are really good with them
Yes, like any other 'public' school CLA has its issues. The school is amazing based on your child's need. With Beaverton facing cuts, I want to insure my children will get full focus on everything they need. With new things happening and coming to the school, tell me why you wouldn't want to give it a chance. So many people want to claim our kids are behind. Mine is testing great! He's above average in areas and at level for some others, and in others he's a little below, but we're working together (parent teacher partnership) to bring this where it needs to be. They listen when I talk, they know at any given point where my kid is, and who is he. Chance it, check it out, and experience the best! With funding down, give ur child what the government can't> a great start in education !
This is my children's first year in CLA and so far I have been satisfied with their education. My youngest had difficulties when he first entered this school, but each semester he is improving. My oldest child had self-esteem issues in his previous school. After the first week at CLA his attitude completely changed. Both of my children are happy and content and have decided that this is the school they want to stay with through the eighth grade. We all wish that CLA was a K - 12 school. I also feel that my children have a better chance of positive social interactions in this school. Parents and teachers know the children more personally, and the children are less likely to fall prey to negative behaviors that are found in larger schools. Jackie Cross
Creative Learning Academy is a mediocre school and your children will get a far better education elsewhere.
