It would be nice if the WISD in general supported the fine arts/band programs as much as they do the athletic programs. It would also be great to see a higher level of parental involvement. And example is WISD has a marching band of approx 155 students yet at the monthly Band Fan Club meetings we might have 20 parents, and thats including 2 parents from one household, so maybe 9 of the children are represented by parents/guardians.

Well I am a student that has just completed my year at the 9th grade center. One of my many complaints is the unchallenging pre-ap program. The program is designed to challenge the students and be harder than the regular courses. Well I must say that these courses were not difficult at all and I was not challenged by the work or topics covered. Also the parent involvement level was minimum and I do not belive the parents helped much at all. This are some of my complaints for this school.
