Sonoma Valley Academy holds to the principle that each student is a unique person that learns differently. They start to teach from where the student's foundation of knowledge is solid. Then work from that point of knowledge, allowing each student to progress at their own rate of understanding and comprehension. Consequently, each student feels like the individual they are, and not like school is attempting to put them in a cookie cutter mold. My son has gone from public school to here and his grades reflect the ease of learning in this new school. He now has A's and B's instead of D's and C's.The Best part is he longer feels dumb, as if he can't keep up with the herd and he feels valued for who he is and how he learns! Thank you to SVA!!
