After a major transition - this school is now both one of the most academically robust schools in Northern California and warm, service oriented and values-driven. The students run into school with excitement for the day's learning. The teachers are exceptional and all students K-8 learn and use critical thinking, presentation and advocacy skills. Because our day is longer than public or most private schools, our children learn conversational Hebrew and Jewish studies while spending significant time on secular studies. We have the world's most acclaimed math curriculum in Grades 1-5 and it's amazing (Singapore Math - we wish we learned math this way). We have an acclaimed physical fitness program (SPARK PE) and a world-class facility (the PJCC) in which to teach it. This has always been a special school because of it's warm community - now it is both a warm school and academically amazing.
Great community. Parents are very involved. Great teachers. Nice facility. The kids love going to school each day!

Wornick Jewish Day School has been an amazing experience for my older child who successfully transitioned into High School this year. As a result of his education at Wornick he is now very confident and advocates for himself. He was very well prepared for High School academically. Socially, he made a lot of life long friends at Wornick. Our younger child left Public School in 3rd grade and is now in her 4th year at Wornick. She is much happier academically and socially now. We made the best decision ever when we brought our children to Wornick. In addition to the top-tier academics, the teachers are all extremely dedicated and care about each student (even when they move to the next grade!). Wornick is a warm and supportive community. It has become our extended family!

The school has music and lot of exposure to arts. My 2nd grader knows nearly everyone from kindergarten to 8th grade. The school has an amazing staff and a very active PTA. The new head of school has worked very hard to make it top tier in acedemic performance. Academically it can be challenging, since it also has a intense Hebrew program - likely the best in the nation. It is also a wonderful school for non-Jewish families. The school's top graduates went on to the top private high schools. The school is great at differentiation. Every kid is challenged and encouraged to reach high. The hot lunch program is amazing. I'll eat there everyday if I can. Parents volunteers spend so much time and energy in school. Really, what more can one ask for a
