The school is way too crowded. The students don't have enough time to eat lunch because of split lunch periods. There are some good teachers but they do not have time to meet the needs of the students. There is also a diverse selection of classes; however, only a few select students are able to get in due to classroom size. If you try to walk in the halls between classes, it is like a mob--wall to wall students (and many not properly behaving). My daughter just completed 8th grade there and my son went there for 3 years. The administrators do not always listen to the children and parents, but always take the side of the teachers-even when proven otherwise.

The teachers i feel never listen to you, i feel im trying to get my point across but my teachers are too busy to talk to eachother. I feel the teachers dont care at all about what im doing. I remeber going to Toliver Elementry school and Skiles test they would tell me how i am doing but here they dont tell me anything

teachers were great, there 2 year advanced stretch program was wonderful for my daughter. it was great to see them have something for the gifted children instead of leaving them behind and only focusing on the trobled kids like most school do. The principal, guidance counselors and teachers were awesome.
