As a student, when I moved to the area near Edsel Ford, I not only found how welcoming the community was, but how evident the school spirt was as well. The staff is friendly, and security is all over the place, which makes me rest assured that safety is evident.
Edsel Ford is a very excellet school. Not only that it is fun it also has many different classes to choose from.

Despite a very diverse population and many ESL students Edsel has a very strong language arts program that includes an optional humanities program, honors classes, and an AP program. The social studies program is also very competitive offering AP classes in European History as well American History and government. Math and science scores are competitive with the other Dearborn schools as well. The band and choir programs routinely turn in high marks at festivals and competitions. Athletically, there aren't many sports that aren't offered, especially for girls with sports such as gymnastics and field hockey. Lastly, the administration is top-notch. The current principal has served longer than any other administrator in the history of the school. The assistants principals are hands-on and competent in their everyday activities.
