ACECC is overall a great school. The teachers tend to be a bit strict and the school is very orderly. The leadership is great. Don't worry about your children getting into fights at this inner city school, they are kept on a short and I mean short leash. Academically, I would say the school is where it should be. My child came from a private school setting and the education in private was top notch. Bottom line, it still is all about my involvement and communication with teachers and staff that makes my child's educational experience great or a bust. I have found many other like minded parents at ACECC that are very serious about their child's education. Also, you can't beat the programs offered at ACECC. My child get's his hair cut every other week at school for $3...Yes, this is no misprint. I would recommend ACECC.
My daughter came from private school to public. Initally we were concerned about whether or not she would continue to be challenged academically. To our surprise ACE has greatly stepped up to the challenge and then some. Together they have not missed a beat.
