The school's participation with Teacherease is a great tool for comminicating with your child's teachers, tracking assignments, grades, and more. In my experiences with all of the disctrict 2 schools my children have attended were better than district 1, where my oldest son along with my siblings and I graduated from. The district 2 schools have quite a diverse student body, lots of extra- curricular activities and clubs for the students, along with the honors and gifted/talented and beta club activities to provide outstanding oppurtunities for the gifted students. The schools are big enough to be able to offer many oppurtunites for our children, but not too big that the kids still get individualized attention and don't get 'lost' in the system. I am a proud parent of disctrict 2 honors students! Thank you
My son attends this school and like many of the parents, the kids just don't have much to get excited about. When I went to school we would have dances, pep rallies, and things like that. I went to school with my son one day and I can't believe they can actually get charged with sexual harrasment just for hugging each other. I that is so stupid. My son doesn't even know what that means. Another thing I don't like is that it takes so long for you to find out that your child has gotten into trouble. Last year, every time my son did something I wouldn't find out until two weeks later. I was always told that they had to investigate it first. Why does it take two weeks to investigate something? I hope it get better this year!

It's a pretty good school aside from the occasional (more like weekly) fights. The curriculum is awesome for every student and since the school recently formulated a rule that no student can be exempted from exams, the learning has improved! Teachers are cracking down on us! There is no fun at this school. No assemblies. No pep rallies. The teachers are all very strict. So the school isn't very enjoyable at all. The only fun you have is if you go to the football games. Blah blah. I don't know how they expect us to have fun. They wonder why everyone hates each other and gets in fights. (There aren't many Einsteins in Boiling Springs.)
I used to go to this school and my son has been complaigning there aren't as much of afterschool activities there are in our old neigborhood. He also complaigns that the teachers are mean and there are quite a few bullies in the school that frequiently bully the other and younger 6th and 7th graders.
