compared to the schools i have gone to in the past it is pretty good. the teachers are nice but the principles are a pain. they could be a lot better if they actually listen to the students rather than always just listening to what the teachers say. the teachers are not always right.

Searcy High School is the best school I've ever been to! The staff is great, the student body is okay, and I get a really good education tere.

Academic programs are good, extracurricular activities-could be better, parent involvement is good. I don't think the dress codes and other rules are dominated like they should be. The girls athletics don't get enough recognition as the boys sports. The money for the sports activities need to be distributed more evenly.They need head coaches for each sport not someone that is tied up with another sport and can't do the other until the first one is over. Fall ball for baseball and softball would be nice. Tryouts for all sports the first of the year would be nice so everyone could try out at one time. College Prep. is very good for the students. we will definitely miss Mr. Crow.

I'm a '05 Senior from SHS. I have gone to Searcy my whole life and I think even though the school does have some downfalls, overall, it's a great school. Of all my four years attending SHS, I've seen MAYBE two fights. We have a great resource officer who has befriended many, teachers who actually care about their students, and students who out-of-the blue will say 'hi' just because. If I had the choice in picking any school or Searcy, I would pick Searcy in a heart beat.
