Eubanks Intermediate is a school serving 5th and 6th graders in the award-winning Carroll Independent School District. Our school has 671 students with 26 core-subject teachers and a well-rounded fine arts program. We have a number of clubs and activities for our students including a running club of over 100 students, a math club, chess club, choir club, and many others. Our latest preliminary state testing results show high performance in each grade level and each subject tested. Our teachers have won several grants ranging from a humanities grant to encourage integration of content area to a technology grant to increase the use of technology in our science program. We are proud of our students and hope you visit our website at www.southlakecarrol.edu.

Eubanks has great and not so great points. First the great things: the teachers are excellent and are available before and after school for additional help. The musical opportunities are phenomenal. The advancement these kids make in 9 months brings tears to your eyes at the spring concert. The areas I think there could be improvement: The principal needs to be on campus more and accessible to parents. In our experience he was either away or his schedule didn't allow us to meet unless we scheduled it a week out. Bullying (physical punching) is a problem and the consequences for such behavior are mild. One concern about 6th Grade Adv. Math: The class is taught in a loud and intense manner. Even if your child is a whiz at Math, if they can't handle someone who is very intense (but well intentioned) it would be best to stay in Reg. Math.
Absolutely horrid school. Never send your child to Eubanks. The administration is full of idiots and the teachers are burned out!!! my honor student hated this school and experienced low self-esteem because of the principal and teachers. Most parent we know think the same way.
