yes, some of the rules are a bit ridiculous with having to have our teachers walk us to every single class, but you have to know that it is only for our safety from the past. im on the schools varsity softball and volleyball team. let me tell you, madison #1 teams dominate. the teachers are great, always coming up with fun new ways to help us learn. the girls p.e. coach is the best of them all. she is always pushing you to your full potential and loves seeing you succeed. she has been a big influence in my life. this is a school that would benefit your child.

Now that Madison #1 has a new administration starting the 08-09 school year this school is incredible as they are strong in safety and discipline. The teachers don't have to address discipline issues on their own and are finally able to teach! My kids are so happy and feel safe. The honors program is wonderful. I believe the poor reviews below are a result of the lack of leadership and vision from previous administrations. I joined the parents this year with a sigh of relief because of the new change. My kids always come home happy.

Great school, teachers are wonderful, strong honors program. Many years of experience with this school and I have nothing but positive things to say.
