Both of my children have attended St. Edward since pre-school. My oldest is currently in middle school. Our new principal, Sharon Rands, has been an amazing asset & has brought about some much needed change. Middle school has a max of 24 students per class which makes for a wonderful teaching & learning enviornment. The tuition is one of the most affordable of private schools in the area. Community support within the school & parish in tragic & happy times is what makes St. Edward a blessing to our families.

The school 36 children in each classroom. It is row after row of students. This makes learning difficult. Public Elementry has 20 max.

Our experience at St. Edwards has been disappointing on several fronts. The school is very demanding of parents in terms of participation, volunteering and financial support (beyond tuition) and yet unwilling to accommodate students with (minor) special needs or attention. The faculty, while well intentioned, is generally youthful and inexperienced. We have encountered significant parent/teacher/student communication issues at various grade levels.
St. Edward School works to guide students to be good people in the world. It offers a loving environment, approachable teachers and an opportunity for parents to be involved like no other school I have seen. No school is perfect, but this one has given each of our kids so many gifts that we feel blessed to have found it.
