I highly recommend Cornerstone. CCS teachers obviously enjoy teaching and go the extra mile for the students. The principals are tough but fair with discipline issues. Many extras like overnight field trips, musicals, and Spanish program for 2nd graders on up. Wonderful school.
We did not like Cornerstone at all. Subpar education, a very non approachable, unfriendly principal, judgemental school that questions ones' moral values and interpretation of religion, does not prevent bullying. I agree with other reviews, do not select Cornerstone.
We LOVE Cornerstone! Elementary students receive Spanish instruction twice a week along with music, PE and technology. They have many opportunities for middle and high school students including ASB, sports, community service clubs, etc. Families are friendly. Teachers are great and the principal knows every student by name.
Save your money, frustration and do not enroll at Cornerstone. Education below standards, parent involvement low, teacher quality very poor and lack of concern for the well being of the children.
