this school is horrible i went there my freshman year and i wish i never did. the sudents arent very nice to eachother they spred rumors that are untrue they are very immuature i transfered to MPHS and im very happy there. it is by far a way better school!
Lakewood High School is an awesome school. I'm almost done with my sophomore year and I find the teachers to be great! I do think we need more school spirit though.
I just graduated from this high school and I highly recommend it. It has great college in the high school, advanced placement, and running start programs. After graduating, I was immediately accepted into the University of WAshington as a sophomore. It's a small school, with great extra curricular. The teachers are great. They are motivational and challenging. If you are looking for a nice small school, this is a great choice.
It has been a transition from perochial classroom to Lakewood High. I find the lack of a definative requirements on students concerning behavior and dress a negative. the need to build better respect by students of parents and faculty is also a concern. Being just like the rest of the public school system is not enough, why not lead the pack? Teachers have done a great job of being available to students. Not teaching down, and adding to the dumbing of out children is a real positive.
