We just completed our first year at LGS and going into our second. I'm very impressed with this school after coming from public. Excellent teachers, awesome facility, bible-based education. I toured other Christians schools in the area but felt like this one was top notch in academics with strong emphasis on biblical teaching not only as a subject but across all subjects. At the same time, they do not shelter students. They are taught, for example, in science the same things that public school students hear. Except for the fact that they will teach what the bible says and why, etc. That way students are prepared and can think for themselves when they leave this place. They won't be hearing non-christian perspectives for the first time when they launch into real life and not know what to do with that info. I especially appreciate that part.

This will be my son's second year at this wonderful school after being at a catholic private school. First of all, this school is in a beautiful, peaceful and serene setting nestled in the mountains. The school is on 28 acres of land so there is plenty of room to run and play (a boy's paradise). The staff, teachers and parents are down-to-earth and friendly. The teachers are exceptional in their caring for each child as an individual. They are firm but very loving and compassionate. This school places more importance in things like learning bible verses and stressing good character traits and are not sticklers for what shoes or socks you wear or if your shirt is tucked or untucked. They stress traditional values and love of country. I'm so pleased and impressed with my son's academic and social development. My son loves this school! (4th grader 08/09)

We are in our first year at Los Gatos Christian School. Our daughter has a wonderful teacher who has done both an excellent job teaching her and caring for her emotional development. The curriculum is quite aggressive, yet all the children seem to be doing well. The after school program is great with the people being quite caring. The principal - Ms. Treva Black does an excellent job and I have found that the children are respectful and polite across all the age groups. I can't say enough about this loving, close knit environment.
