Foothills is such a wonderful school I could never think of taking my child from this smaller close knit school. The staff goes above and beyond what is expected of them to get you any answers you need. The Principal is very approachable and kind. The teachers and other staff are very involved in Foothills PTA and very willing to help. I can't say enough good things about the teachers. They answer your questions quickly and professionally. And willing to offer ideas to help further your Student! I highly recommend this school to all my friends and family. Foothills is a smaller school however this gives the kids a very good oppurtunity to grow lasting friendships and bonds that a bigger school doesn't offer!!!

Serious Discipline Problems at this school. Many kids out of line on a daily basis, staff does nothing about it. I have worked in the library and seen all classes come in and out, many had multiple teachers to control the out of line behavior and rowdiness but it did not help. If what goes on in the classroom is at all like what I saw in the library during sit down 'learning time' I would not send my child there. I was shocked at the behavior of the students.

Foothills Elementary is a fantastic school with an excellent Principal and staff. The Teachers are dedicated to the students and work hard to provide an environment that is conducive to learning. I feel that the teachers are teaching my kids to learn not teaching them for a test! With that, my children will walk away from Foothills with strong life skills and the desire to continually learn.

Foothills is a great school with excellant teachers! Always looking to improve and the principal is nice and easy to talk to. I would recommend this school to anyone. The school also has diversity which is great! The prior comment had mentioned some disrespectful kids attending this school. Any school that your child may attend is going to have some misbehaving children. Wouldn't you rather your children learn coping skills with this instead of sheltering them from what is part of growing and learning to deal with difficult people as a adult? Honestly!
