My adult son has Aspergers and there were no Aspergers programs available while he was in school. Mark Twain Crossroads program was the only special education program that we encountered that was willing to implement a customize special education program that worked for my son. My son arrived at the Crossroads program in crisis, and left it a changed person. He gained the self confidence and self control to work part-time and participate in community activities for the first time.
