St. Mary School

This is my 5th year at St. Mary School, Gilroy and it is a fantastic environment for my children. the academics are outstanding, the teachers are caring and communicate well with the parents. The staff and principal have an open door policy and the principal is an asset to the school. She cares about each and every student and is an excellent teacher as well. I am very fortunate to be able to have my children in this learning environment.

Not only is St. Mary School in Gilroy provides great education for the kids... It also has the nurturing atmosphere that empowers children and even parents! We are so happy to move our son here. The entire staff is great. First Grade class rocks! Principal Christa Hanson is very very balanced on enforcing rules and regulations for the betterment of the school as well as how supportive and nurturing she is for the kids, the staff and the parents! I experienced it first hand! This school is #1!

Wow! What a fantastic year. My son is in kindergarten. He has learned so much this year. The school has exceeded my expectations. The teachers are so gifted and they truly enjoy the students. My son comes home so excited to tell my what he did in class, from what he is learning in science, math, reading, computers, and art. I would highly recommend this school.

I attended St. Mary's, and it was great back then. I then returned as a student teacher, and had a fulfilling realization that it still is a great school. The Principal is around and very supportive. The teachers are dedicated, as well as support staff. Very warm, comfortable place to be. Now in the public school system as a teacher, I truly appreciate what St. Mary has built-- a wonderful educational environment.
