This is an excellent school for kids with dyslexia. Not only do they address the reading issues, they also teach life skills and self-advocacy. Only one of 3 on the entire west coast.

This is a wonderful school for children who are struggling with reading and writing. There is a specialized curriculum which focuses in on areas were children with mild learning difficulties have problems. There is daily P.E., weekly art, music and library. Classes can have up to 18 students, but language arts and math are taught in small groups of 6 or 8. For students who need a more individualized approach to learning or who have moderate language processing problems this may not be a good choice as there is little flexibility in the curriculum.

Wonderful, Caring School Community. Truly understand the children and prepare them for transition to regular classroom.
