I am not a parent of a student, but a party that has been invited in to the school to help work with high risk children. I see more one on one work with each child that attends school there. The resource staff and counslors know what they are doing and if they need help they ask for it. That is where I come in. Wonderful staff with better choices for the children that attend this school.

Pinnacle Canyon Academy use to be a good school, a better alternative to public school. But now things are much worse. Their reading programs really are horrible. I have a third grader who was reading with the same fluency as my first grader, until I took them both out and into a district school, now they are soaring. I definately would not recommend this school to any parent. Parent involvement is a must, yes but even then the parents show up to help and the there is nothing for them to do.
