Our family is new to the area, and we are extremely pleased with this school. I cannot say enough good things about it. The Principal is available for every parent and student at any time, always making it known that the success of every student is the main goal. The teachers are caring and attentive. They are constantly working on new ways to make the school better for the students. This is exactly what I want in a school for my children...one that is always striving to improve, even when test scores say they don't need to! A great school needs to change with the times, and this school works to always do what is best for the students. Parents are always welcome, and no question is silly or unimportant. Also, the diversity of the student population is awesome. Acceptance is never an issue. A Great School with excellent Principal leadership!!

Five years ago the school was really nice, and my experience has been in general a good one. I love the diversity, but the school is way to crowed. My daughter went into the 2nd grade reading at a 3rd to 4th grade level, and did not make any improvement all year long, however she was very weak within her math skill, and this was not really addressed. The principal is a kind person, and a great leader, but it's hard to say if this school is worth the high tax dollars.

When we moved into the house, the school was not built yet. But we believed the school will be a good school because it's a new community and resides in Fort Bend county. But after about 5 years, we are kind of disappointed. The school rating dropped from recognized to acceptable. Before my son went to Kindergarten in this school, he was in a Montessori school, his reading was third grade level when he left the Montessori. After he went to RDE, we didn't see any improvement on his reading and math the first two years. Not just that, we feel his behavior is not as good as before, learned a lot bad language. So now, we are looking for a good private school around.
