Rolling Hills is a wonderful, small and safe school! The school employs the Harbor Method of teaching which ensures that the children feel safe and supported so they can learn at extremely high levels. I attended a school meeting where a representative of the Idaho Department of Education said that Rolling Hills was one of Idaho s top performing schools. Although our school, and many others, had its share of difficulties (last year in particular), we have a new administrator with tons of experience and a clear vision for Rolling Hills future. Our teachers are all outstanding and care about their students. The students are talented and polite. The overall atmosphere this year is so positive and electric. Our children love the school and so do we!

It is the best school because there is never any bullying and we wear uniforms so I am never looking around the room disrated or worrying about the latest fashion. The teachers are also wonderful helping you whenever you have a problem they are always kind and patine to.

We have had our children at Rolling Hills since it opened--the first 3 years were incredible under the direction of Dr. Carolyn Mauer and an exceptional, caring staff of amazing teachers. This past year has been nothing but turmoil, with most all of the teachers leaving because of a poor administrator who does not train or involve the staff (one faculty meeting all year!?) among other things. Unfortunately, because of poor administration, this school is having some serious trouble. There is a great group of dedicated and caring parents who are willing to work hard to restore the school's good name and great academic practices, but a lot of damage has been done this year. If you attend any of the board/town hall meetings, you can easily figure out what is going on--although some would like to call it 'growing pains' and make it seem nebulous and complex.
