Carden Academy is honestly one of the best private schools in the South Bay. My daughter has been at a good public school and at Carden and I have to say, that Carden has got a very well-balanced, intellectually-stimulating and enriching curriculum. The school also offers a lot of field trips that supplement the learning process. The teachers are excellent and take a lot of effort to teach the children. There is also a lot of emphasis on good behavior. They do educate the 'whole' child!
Carden Academy of Santa Clara has been an excellent school to me. I recently graduated, getting accepted into one of the best high schools around.
I am extremely disappointed. Carden Academy does not meet our expectations. We escaped to Carden Academy from Challenger but now realize that both are very similar. Primarily, both follow old school academic philosophies and structure. The 'whole child' is not represented and I believe it's the teachers and curriculum. I chose the wrong Carden.
My daughter was a student at Carden from 1st grade to 8th. I know she would not not had the great experience of learning from any school had it not been for The examples, curriculum, and attention she received from the whole staff. At this time with the education, training for the future, and encouragement, she has grown in the business world, as a good mother, and an outstanding citizen. I thank Mrs. Reo and the principles of the School that gave their love of teaching, and understanding of what will help a child grow informationally, intellegently, and confident in themselves.
