My daughter entered LPS through the school choice program as we live in a neighboring town but I work in Leicester. The kindergarden program was incredible. My daughter was reading simple books at Christmastime! Now that it is summer, she reads to me in the car and 'taps' out words as she sounds them out. She is attending 'learning camp' this summer and making new friends while reinforcing the concepts she learned during the school year. The teachers are so dedicated even during the summer break. I see the pride in our school through Mrs. Whitworth, the very visable principal, and by watching the teachers interact with the parents.
I think the Leicester Primary School is wonderful. My daughter and I have had the best experiences with the school, the activities and especially the teachers. I couldn't say enough about the Leicester Primary School.
