I've been to this school my entire life. It's really not as bad as people say. It's an ok school. You learn what you need to learn, and you have fun. People just look down on it, because it's a broke school in Lawrence county. Seriously, it's not that bad.

I am an current student at Hazlewood High School, and I highly recommend this school to anyone who's interested. This school has taught me great vaules that I will use later on in life. Not only does this school teach important life lessons, it also has taught me the education that I need to exceed in college. Over the years that I have resided at Hazlewood High my grades have been great. When I first transfered from this school I was above average one could say, but now that I'm here my grades are outstanding. I even made a 17 on my ACT my first try. None of my other friends who took the ACT with me as well, could say that. So I give congrads to Hazlewood for their great acheivements.

Academic programs are not what they should be. Parent involvement is not encouraged. I have offered to assist and was turned down.

Academic programs are not supported at Hazlewood High School. There are misbehavior with the students and teachers relationship, there are parent and teacher conference days but any parent hardly show up. The sports are not improving well. There are at least 252 students at Hazlewood High School and each student should at least participate in one physical activity. The parents out there, we need to get together and get involved with our child(ren) live(s). Thanks
