Boyd is a great school. We came from Northwest ISD and I do not recommend anyone to attend these schools. There are too many students and not enough teacher involvement with students. Boyd classes are small and the teachers and students can get involved and communicate with each other. The teachers are wonderful and they really listen to the parents and care. My children will graduate with honors and high self esteem from a school that cared abouth their education. This is not a slack off school!! We love it at Boyd!!!
i graduated 2005 and i agree with cole it is a slack off school i almost did not pass the english task test becuse our class always watched movies in stead of learning most the time boyd is a fun place but i am really really bad at math becuse i could not under stand how they were teaching it . its like when you become a senior they dont really care or put as much work in teaching us . some teachers were good but not all of them

I graduated from this school in 2008 and I thought that the faculty did a wonderful job in their respective subjects. My senior year a lot of changes were put in place and half of the staff was replaced. I do not agree with everybody else on topic of the math program. Mr. Smith is an excellent teacher if you get up into the higher math (past algebra); Mrs. Lindsey is also very involved with students education in history and economics; Mr. Oosterhaus is the only reason that I'm passing my college biology class, he's excellent in science; And Mrs Johnson taught me in the arts, Now I'm working as a wedding photographer, making about $150 dollars a day, 3 days a week. (enough to cover my tuition!) I feel like Boyd Hign School more than prepares me for my life in College, where I'm majoring in Fine Arts.
