As a student i personal loved the school. It was the best 7 years of my life so far. the peopel you meet stay with you forever...as a sophmore i still havemy best friends from CCDS and we will be together for awhile. the education their lasts a life time.

Our two children are recent graduates of the CCDS K-6 experience and I am pleased to say they are doing quite well, with respect to the standard 3Rs, their standardized test scores, and that all important EI (emotional intelligence). The curriculum adheres to California standards, and includes a wonderful art experience (be prepared to frame and display your child s creations they ll be inspiring!), along with music, physical activities, and spiritual development. Adhering to the Episcopalian education three pillars of reason, scripture, and tradition, you and perhaps as important, your family will be welcomed into a loving community that is child and family centered. Highly skilled teachers who are passionate about teaching, talented, dedicated, and nurturing administrative and support staff, along with small class size create the proper educational setting as your children learn to become independent self-starters, embarking on a life time of learning and becoming good citizens.

For almost a decade now, our family has been affiliated with Christ Church Day School. I witnessed first hand the love and commitment the staff and faculty have for the children we parents entrust to them. My three children attended the school, and my middle child was an unusual learner. The teachers and Headmistress worked as a team with our family to help identify the most effective way for our child to succeed academically. The combination of honest dialog between our family and the school, a small class, committed educators, and a safe, benevolent environment allowed not only our middle child but all our children to foster their intellectually curiosity into tangible knowledge. This school laid the foundation for critical learning skills required for academic success. It is a true gem.

If your child learns at all in a different way then their way of teaching FORGET IT! SAVE your money and save your child a bad learning experience. We came to realize that with the many good things they do offer. There is one HUGE flaw, which is the lack of understanding that all children do not learn the same way.
