Teachers are great, some administrators need improvement. Music opportunities are good, art is available, trade courses are outstanding. Students are not well prepared for college. Basic English like core words, sentence structure, and punctuation aren't taught. Community is great, and parent involvement in activities is good. On-line educational opportunities are good.
I have found this school to be less than adequete. The students are not challenged, and classes are taught to the lowest common denominator. My child rarely has homework (once a week or less) and even with sports is hardly taxed to achieve a 4.0. The administration does not support the staff and makes doubtful choices about who they hire. The sports programs are very basic, offering only football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, track, and cheerleading. The only other clubs are FBLA, EPYCS and CAN. Our music program has maybe 5 students.
