Despite some of the rare negatives being said on this rating of this great school. I feel that the school has come along way to try to make every family happy. All schools are not perfect! There will always be someone that's not gonna be happy for whatever reason! So with that note, I as a Carden West Parent is very Happy with what Carden has to offer and If my child loves going to school and loves his teacher/teachers and enjoys what he is learning in his classess, to me that's money well spent!
Carden West is very fortunate to have a strong school board of directors made up of parents and an equally strong PTO board of directors that are involved in making sure that everyone's voice is heard while building the Carden Community. That is what makes this not for profit school such a great place to be involved in. This is my fourth year at Carden and have 2 children at the school. I find that the cirriculum is challenging and that my children are very happy there. With the variety of after school programs they are able to participate in many activities because the programs are held after school and right on-site. I find the school to fit our needs and I am sure that if you come for a tour you will see what all of the other supportive parents see, a well run school.
School is not academic enough. For the price, it should have a stronger curriculum. The teachers seem overwhelmed, with high turnover rates among staff, and the small group of PTA runs the school (good and bad).
Amazing school - well worth the tuition - small class sizes and loving teachers. My child is in Kindergarten and the teachers, curriculum and facility are all wonderful!
