I went to Clio schools. I know how much the school officials and teachers care and see the parental involvement. If you are looking for a good school in a great community, Clio is an excellent choice.

Clio High School is an amazing place to earn a well rounded education. As a student there, I experience all that it has to offer. I know that the teachers there are preparing me for the future with a good education and sincere knowledge of the outside world. For the most part, the teachers really care about their students and want them to suceed. I also have to mention that Senora Yue, the Spanish teacher, is the best around, and she is an excellent teacher, along with many many others.

I attended Clio schools from kindergarten until 9th grade. It was a great dissapointment when I left. The school I attend now is too laid back and in the two years attending I have felt I haven't learned anything. Clio really challenges kids to succeed. Everyone seems to get along so much better at Clio High School then the school I attend now. Everyone is able to get along with everyone else. It's a great environment. Many current students may not realize it, as I didn't when I was there, but compared to other schools Clio is excellent. I would love to go back. I feel my education was much better there and overall Clio exceeds the school I go to now not only in teacher quality but also in curriculumn and environment. Sometimes the Administration may not please everyone but in the end their desicions do benefit the schools.

There is nothing about older teachers that prevents them from teaching. I attending Clio High School and many of the older teachers are the only ones who make demands, who expect hard work from their students and involvement from parents. When I was there the problem was primarily younger teachers, who made great friends and mentors, but who demanded very little actual work from their students. Clio was a great school, and when we moved for my senior year I was sorely dissapointed with the choices I had. All of the money and new buildings in Northern Michigan didn't change that I had already taken ALL the classes. Clio challenges their students more than any of the schools I have been to to worked for, and that is owed in large part to the teachers who many feel should retire.
