Male is a great school! The teachers are wonderful, and actually enjoy teaching. The traditional program is the best college prep available in the public system.
This school is terrible. My child has told me numerous times that he feels like all they care about is what he's memorized lately, rather than actually learning the material. They are always worried about the dress code for no particular reason other than 'to see which teacher can get the most dress code write ups'. I would recommend avoiding this school at all costs!
Wonderful school with teachers that understand the balance between academic and social learning. Highly recommended.
I'm a senior at Male right now, and I hate it. Most of the teachers and administation are too uptight and strict. They obsess over the smallest thing (like one inch of your shirt being untucked) and focus on that, rather than concentrate on doing what they're paid to do, which is teach.
