My children have attended Immanuel First Lutheran since 1996. My son has now moved on to Bishop Amat, accepted, and tested in at 10th and 11th grade school levels. He has been in honor classes, and is taking AP classes. My 1st, 4th, and 5th graders do very well, and their Iowa test scores are @ 90% and abovd. If you want quality schooling, education, family atmosphere, and definately more inexpensive daycare. Please visit IFL, the staff is just wonderful. My children feel it is home away from home, and to this day former students visit IFL. If you compare $70.00 a week in public school daycare, you save with private school due to small classes, and great education. Think about it, you are paying public school prices just for afterschool daycare.

My daughter is in middle school, has been going to IFL since preschool. IFL gives her the opportunity to grow stronger physically and spiritually. It provides a well-rounded education to prepare a child to be a fine young man or woman for the society. The academic standards reflected on her Iowa test - average above 90%. If a student doesn t understand a concept, the teacher always stops and explains it. Principal and teachers know most of the students and they are treated as a family. Day Care are well run with love and discipline, parents always have peace of mind. I recall how the preschool teacher comforted my daughter for her first nap. I can t speak well enough about IFL. This statement shows how we appreciate it. The whole family agrees that we will send our grandchildren to this wonderful school in the future . We Love IFL.
Most schools post their weekly academic schedules online. and if you check Immanuels and other schools, you will actually find that they do correspond. I find the staff at Immanuel to be loving, supportive and caring.
