Spearman Elementary School

I have nothing but great things to say about Spearman, the Principal, Mr. Jason Lashley and Staff, have all been warm, kind and very helpful in all aspects, and go the extra mile to explain in detail any concerns a parent or child may have. I look forward to each new school year, and I am glad to say my son attends Spearman!

I credit Principal Mo Howard and the great staff at Spearman with so much of my sons interest in school. I am proud of the work they did with him and am proud to say my son went there for three great years.

This is an excellent school with excellent teachers. The principal knows every student by name on sight and most of the teachers do also.Each child is encouraged to excel where they are strong and grow where they are weak. The teachers give extra time to help students before and after school that need extra help. There is fantastic parent support to help with things that are needed so teachers can focus on class time not getting supplies ready.My son has been in this school since kindergarten and is now in the fifth grade . I am sorry he will have to leave this school next year for sixth grade. Most of the teachers are great but special thanks to Mr.Howard,Mrs.Tourtelot,Mrs.Pittmon,Mrs.Tripp,Mrs.Smith,Mrs.Finley,Mrs.Olive,Mrs.Moore,Mrs.Hasson, Mr.Scrivner,Mrs.Jones,Mrs.Wright,Mrs.Brooks, Mrs.Bloome,Mrs.Uldrich,Mr.Lesley,Mrs.Bridges,all have gone the extra mile to help my son who had special needs and challenges to succeed in regular classrooms. Even when he was a real challenge they helped him.
