West Pelzer Elementary School

West Pelzer has been a Godsend to me and my family! We really wanted to send the kids to a private school but due to the economy we couldn't afford it. West Pelzer has been everything and more that we could ever ask for. Last year the city closed down a near by school. West Pelzer hired on almost 3/4 or their staff and took on more then 1/2 their students. This left no one with out a job and kids didn't have to go very far to find a new school, just down the road in fact. My kids have been a-b honor roll students and the teachers and staff are wonderful, they really care and they put forth everything they have into helping our kids succeed.

My girls have been at west pelzer for 3 years, we moved them from another school that was supposed to be the best. Moving my girls was one of the hardest decissions we ever made. It has also been the BEST one. The teachers at this school are very involved with all aspects of my childrens future from education to role model. Alot of parents try to hand pick teachers at the last school, at this school I dont think there is a teacher choice. From the ladies in the lunch room, strings, art, and all other teachers, to the principle they all know who my girls as well as needs that may be specific to help them succeed.

This might not be the newest building but this school is wonderful, the teachers are caring, the principal is wonderful, and I had absolutely no problems. I wish my kids still went there.
