Bishop's is all about making the students feel good about themselves, excited about education, and eager to thrive. This is my first year as a student there, and I love it.

A disappointment. Overpriced with an over-inflated sense of its own importance. Good for parents who want to buy their kids entry into societal privilege. A poor choice for parents who care about their children's academic growth and social and emotional well being.

I am currently a student at The Bishop's School and it is a wonderful place of learning. Attending this school has made so much of a difference to my life and my education.
We feel so fortunate to have both of our children attending TBS. The environment is totally college preparatory from the academics, arts and athletics standpoint. Nothing but the best is expected. The class size is amazingly small which fosters focused attention and discussions. This is the gem of education in San Diego. If the faculty hasn't been there a very long time, then they are highly accredited - like PhD's. Even athletic coaches are the top in their field. Dance, music and other art faculty are phenomenal and oversee students performing at better than Civic Theater levels. The administration is at the top in the nation. Even the security, maintenance workers and gardeners show off their skills. It might cost more but there is value here. Besides, if you're the parent, doesn't it make sense to provide the best for your child?
