I love EASD let alone EAMS!! 5-8 grade was one of my favorite school years of my life! The teachers are great, go the 'extra mile' and are there for you when you need them. I totally disagree with the other negative comments. You have to be active with school to like school. I would recommend this school to anyone!
Not enough control over the students who get into fights, call kids names and the administration and teachers are afraid of.

5/6 and 7/8 are connected physically, but worlds apart. The 5/6 portion does not plan for things and in my opinion flies by the seat of their pants, and most times it ends up being a mess. The traffic/congestion is not even being dealt with. The Orientation and Open House might as well as been non-existant, it was so unhelpful.

I too agree with everyone else. I am so unhappy with the school I have been looking into alternatives. My son always excelled in school, nothing short of being an honor student, now he is barely passing. He tells me the way the teachers yell instead of helping, how they point out all their faults. How is this useful? The 5 & 6 grade years are the most important. This is when our children decide if they are going to take education seriously. Even after moving into the new building, it still runs no smoother. It is a shame to scar a child like this. I know mine hasn't been the same emotionally since he started there.
