Easton Area High School is a great highschool. Compare it to other schools, you wont be able to find the verity that EAHS has. Test scores really cant tell you how a school helps its students learn. I'm not a great test taker; many other students, like myself, can't test well but can retain the information taught. Tests cant show just how well one retains information but it shows how well you do under the pressures of time. I dont believe that schools should be rated on test scores. Test scores can not tell anything about a person ability to work, how well they learning in their environment, or what type of person they can or have become by going to that school. Talk to the students, parents, teachers, and principals they will tell you how a school really should be rated; by how the students turn out in life.
Both of my daughters go to this school. They have a good variety of classes, including foreign language classes that include Japanese!

I would have to strongly disagree with the parent who submitted a review criticizing one of the teachers in particular for showing a movie. As a student, I would like to point out that the vast majority of the videos we see in class are from the history channel, or something of that sort. However, when it comes to the whole Saving Private Ryan video not being as educational as you think, that's where I'd have to disagree. I was in that class actually, and I think that by us watching the movie, it gave us a different perspective on just how crucial the war was. It showed you what it was like for a few soldiers up close and on a more personal level than what anything on the history channel could provide.
