Clare School provides the best education possible in the district. It is the best school in the conference in sports. It consistently does better on standardized tests then any other school. Apart from the principal it is amazing.
As a former student and parent I can tell you this district is below average. This school is very 'clicky'. If you fit the mold the teachers are more than willing to help. If you are something other than what is ideal you are outcasted not only by the other students but by a majority of the staff also. The principle is only worried about keeping graduation rates up therefore he pushed any student that the system has failed to the Alternative school across town which allows the school to maintain not only a high graduation rate but an elevated one. In addition, Sports are a joke if you aren't a well to do (ie. doctor, lawyer, business owner or teachers child) you aren't allowed to play. In other words, Sport participation aren't based on talent but on status. I moved away from this district to allow my children a equal chance.
I do not think this is a great school. The curriculum could have been much better, and the teachers more attentive.
Clare is the best school I have went to. The teachers help me all the time and they got me to graduation. I am so glad I went to Clare High School.
