Bluford Elementary School

I love Bluford, my son has been going there since Kindegarten he will be entering second grade next year. The staff is great, the teachers are interested in your children's learning. Bluford has activities throughout the year and an involved PTA. I look forward to my child spending another 4 years here.

I love Bluford. My first child went to Bluford and completed K-5. Now I have another child attending Bluford. The principal, teachers, and staff give 100% of themselves everyday. As a parent I'm lucky to have my child their. Teachers go above and beyond to help all students. Bluford is a place where all children can succeed.

I feel that Bluford is an outstanding school. My daughter spent 5 yr there and the teachers were wonderful (Lamb, Thomspon and Rickard)5th grade teachers. All teachers had my child interest at heart and hand. The principal pta and some parents supported the uniforms to improve academic and boost children morals even in uniforms some students were still picked on.The quality of academic were outstanding. Children that are C's & D's students can say the grace and take lead parts in programs they need a chance please give them their chance. My child who will enter kindergarter will go to another school.

My child spent 5 years at Bluford (1st through 5th grades) and I was surprised at the lack of diversity among the teaching staff. I was not impressed with the principal's leadership and even less so with the lack of the programming that was described in the Magnet School Brochure. I personally feel as though they over-promised and under-delivered!
