As a former student of Bad Axe High School, I found many good and bad qualities about the school. Firstly, there is no diversity at the school. Plus, the econmy is poor. Academically the high school is actually good considering how small it is. They have a Honors English program, along with four A.P. classes (English, Biology, Psychology, and Government). But the only classes that were challenging were A.P. Biology and Chemistry. The extra-curriculars are limited. Some extra-curriculars were marching, pep, and concert band, chior, forensics, and quiz bowl. Sports are encouraged, but fewer students are participating each year. The volleyball is excellent, however. Parents of students thare involved are involved, which is a small percentage. The teachers are medicore. Punishment is very lax. I personally would never raise my in the area. They would grow up to be very sheltered.
