I feel this school is excellent. The teachers care about the kids and what they learn and are willing to spend time with them if they are having problems. The past principal was not good with the kids nor with the parents. The new guy is great with both and he demands excellence from his staff.

This is a small town school where the teachers are very much involved in the community within and outside of the school. The staff is willing to work with parents and children to truely ensure that no child is left behind. I have seen nothing but positive results with my children since the new principal took his position in August 2007. This is truely a great school and a great faculty. They are honest, caring and committed to the youth that will be the community leaders tomorrow.

This small town school seems to exclude itself from all outside formal and non-formal critsism. marks are below acceptable for state and federal standards. Troy high school aslo seems to pride itself on the 'redkneck' theme. Many of the students and teachers are closed minded to the outside world creating a predjudice thinking. The kids here are treated by the present principle, Mr. Smith as difunctional trouble makers, when in reality there are no extra curricular school activites that the bigger schools have to create a path to success.
