I highly recommend NDE! High caliber academics, great after-school clubs, solid sports program for older kids, and wonderful community.

Great kids, teachers, Sisters (of Notre Dame de Namur), and community. Great academics, teaches values and is a caring place. Faithfully teaches the whole child - what they need for life, and reminds the parents what is truly important.

I went from 2-8 at NDE and graduated in 2004. Unless you want your kid to go to NDB (the high school next door) don't bother. The academics are on par with a decent public school. We always lost at sports, no art program, computers were way too outdated and we only ever did typing drills. The music program consisted of learning recorder in 3rd and 4th and we never did anything because the teacher never made us learn. They paraded, yes Paraded, us in front of the school no matter how much we didn't want to at Mass. I'll admit the community is very enclosed and some people find that comforting. It's not worth the money, find somewhere else, please don't do this to your kids. Private school is only for rich kids in elem, wait until high school and save your cash (the academics are actually better then).

Love it! Can't imagine being happier! I feel my children are safe, happy and learning! The other families have been wonderful, open and friendly! It really is a little gem on the Peninsula!
