The program is very intelligently structured and offers a small student to teacher ratio 1:10 in most preschool groups. The teachers are excellent because they are well-paid. Many hold degrees beyond the bachelor's level. Theseteachers understand child development...children are stretched to learn but not pushed forcefully beyond their comfort level. The administration can be hot or cold. They have a great deal of difficulty with any questioning and respond very defensively--this is not my opinion but 'the word on the street'. Many folks have had unfortunate encounters at the top--BUT the teachers are excellent and the families & children are smart and caring people.

My child has attended Hand in Hand Academy for two years. She is reading and is not quite five years old. The teachers are warm and know the best way to approach each child. They individualize instruction for each child so that all of the children can learn at their comfort level. My child has been challenged and loves to go to school. i would recommend this school for anyone that has a preschool child. We are thinking about staying for Kindergarten!

We have had an amazing experience at Hand in Hand Academy. We will miss the teachers a great deal. The best in the area!

I have to say, I was a little nervous using it as a VPK program but I have to say, I am very impressed with the teachers and the staff. It is better than I could have expected. These teachers are the top of the crop and have a reading teacher that works with EACH student. She is amazing. Wendy the owner has it together. I wish I would have signed my daughter up for the school year. KUDOS to this school. So far no down side. I can't believe it! Great job!
