St. Rita has added a Pre-K program! The school is now Pre-K all the way through 8th grade. One of the things I love about St. Rita School is the 'school family' program. Each 8th grade student becomes a 'Family Leader' and the whole school is divided into small multi-age groups that gather for special events throughout the year. The 8th graders really look out for their younger 'family members' and they all become quite attached to each other. It's wonderful to see the older students lovingly watching out for the younger ones. At our 8th grade graduation ceremonies, the Kindergartners sing a beautiful 'Good-bye' song to the 8th graders...I cry every year. Moments like these are what makes St. Rita's an incredible school. I'm so glad that St. Rita's has been here for my kids and our family.
Saint Rita School has fantastic teachers. They have the number 1 kindergarten and 1st grade teachers of any school in Marin County. The middle school teachers are also the best in the area compared to the other private and public schools. The academic programs stand above the public schools without question. The community of parents are very involved and supportive of the school for the benefit of the children. You know from the first meeting of any of the parents that they care deeply that their children receive a top-notch education. Which is why these parents have chosen Saint Rita School. The local community people has commented that they know a Saint Rita School student by their manners and respect for others. The students are taught academics as well as respect and good manners. Our research and talking with neighbors confirmed that Saint Rita is the best!
