Waller is amazing.The teachers are caring and really understand the childrens needs.We have an awesome new princple this year I know she will be a great addition to our school.We are an A school.
This school is fantastic with it's curriculum developement! They have maintained above and beyond standards when implementing the Reading Frameworks as appointed by Bay District Schools. All of the staff is well educated and if they are not in the process of continuing their education they have just completed a degree above a Bachelors.
This school has a very wholistic view on teaching. Children are set in groups for the lower grades. As for the teachers, just like other schools, Waller has some really good teachers and some not so good teachers. It all depends on your child's learning style as to if this school is going to be a good placement for your child.
Waller seems about average on most counts. It would appear that most of the kids enjoy this school. The teachers seem to do a good job for the most part. They really push the kids for the FCAT assessment tests; maybe a little too much, trying to get a good rating for their school. I think alot of schools are doing that now. The principal seems fair. The guidance counselor is exceptional. Overall, I think this school is probably better than average.
