Among small schools, Valley has terrific opportunities for students. There are a tremendous amount of electives in academic and non-academic areas, as well as a variety of clubs and sports. Academic rigor could be strengthened in some departmental areas, but overall students who want to can achieve great things coming from this school.

Valley has the best of the best students along with some of the lower grade ones. Teachers are the same way. I have had some amazing teachers and others that have wasted semesters of my education and none to the fault of my own work ethic. Discipline is a problem depending on the teacher and the level of the course. Valley is a great place if you're already a good student.

Valley is a good school with well rounded academic programs. Any student willing to initiate a higher level of education than the normal, can easily do so.

The academic programs aren't that great. There are some activities (clubs) but you have to choose one and stick with it for a whole quarter of the year. People also do sports after school. My parents are not too involved with my school, sometimes. Other parents are somewhat involved, not too much.
