I think the school is a great school there will always be room to improve things that we can do to suport the school and the studants which I am willing to do.
This school is just beginning it's 3rd year. My kids have been there since the beginning. At first, I thought I was paying for everything, book deposit, jean day, field day, etc. It bothered me. I know charter schools require a certain amount of volunteer hours our monetary dontaion, so I was ok with that, but the other stuff, come on. But as the years have progressed, I have seen the changes the principal has made at the school, and now I don't mind. She has made very positive changes within in the school. I don't mind giving the money when I see all the good it is doing for the school. Especially now, with the economic crunch, the schools are taking the cuts, but this school is still moving forward. My kids are so happy here. My now 8th grader, has had perfect attendance for the past two years.
This is a grteat shcoll .Am a student at the school an teacher are really nice and freindly. it kinnda expensive for my parents.
if you want to go to this school you dont just have to be accepted but you also need lots and lots of $$$$$.Whatever you do involving the school you better bring your wallet.You have to pay for you childs books and its not only the money but also the ridiculous rules.For example if you have to miss class for some reason like a death in your family you must bring the cirtificate of death!!!I mean what do they care who it was that is personel they dont need to see that.And the only reason that the parent participation is so high is because all of the money coming out of our pockets.And the uniforms are so old fashioned.I mean what child of this century would want to wear a white button shirt with a tie(girls and boys) and no kakkies or capries and all black shoes, laces, and socks.I wouldnotrecomendthisscooltoanyone
